Austin newspaper's channel guide indicates the Astros....
are televised on both FSN and ESPN2. The ESPN2 broadcast may or may not be blacked out, based on my past experience. But FSN should be available.

definitely FSN
Southwest and Houston…but the national broadcast, (ESPN2) I would assume will not be available for anyone living in TX
Evan Hochschild - April 6, 2009
I always got ESPN broadcasts
along with the FSN broadcast while in Houston. Pretty sure everyone will get everything.
Blackout rules are weird.

Even DFW is getting the game...
With the Rangers game at 1:05, FSN is even carrying the Astros today in the DFW area. This is a very big thing as we tend to get screwed on some of the bigger games of the year (didn’t even get Biggio’s last game…seriously).
dallastros_fan - April 6, 2009
wow
thanks for the information!
I knew FSN would carry the game, but I wasn’t sure about ESPN. I go to school in San Antonio, and I seem to remember ESPN being blacked out when the Astros play at home..
Evan Hochschild - April 6, 2009
it varies...sometimes ESPN and FSN both carry the game...sometime ESPN is blacked out..
I’m not sure why it varies, though. usually it is on both channels on opening day, July 4th, and the like, if my recollection is right.

Today is the day
Finally. No more spring training. The gauntlet has been thrown. It is now up to the Astros to take the gauntlet and proceed to bludgeon the Cubs with it. GOOOOO ASTROS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(P.s.- How many people went to fanfest besides me on Saturday?)
(P.P.s.- Listen to the game on the radio if you want. 740 KTRH Your news, weather, traffic and Astros station.)

hey, is it true that Drayton
was signing autographs at the fanfest? And, if he was, did anybody actually ask him for one?
Only_A_Lad - April 6, 2009
hmmm...
I’m pretty sure he wasn’t, but I’m not a hundred percent sure. I got there to late to get anything signed…..
astrofan91 - April 6, 2009
saw a pic on footer's blog I think
of Drayton sitting at a table looking like he was signing
lnewcomer - April 6, 2009

Once, at a caravan
I got Tim Purpura’s autograph because I felt bad for him.
If anyone wants it, let me know.

luuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuke
scott walks in a run against Sabatthia and the Yankees after they intentionally walk Ty Wigginton. 5-1 O’s in what is shaping up to be a good day for former Astros and my fantasy team.
