I have to say
That I’m most pumped to see Keuchel and Manzella’s weeks. Manzella for the doubles and Keuchel for the 5K’s in 7IP.

Anyone else get the feeling that Keuchel will end up being the steal out of the 09 draft? I liked him when I watched him in the College World Series. And seeing how he has transitioned to professional ball, I could see him moving fairly quickly through the minors.

I feel the same way
Can you imagine having Keuchel, Lyles, and Seaton pan out relative close to one another?

Same
I liked what I saw out of Keuchel when he was drafted. He seems like one of those pitchers who will be solid no matter what level of baseball he is playing.

just because I'm an optimist
Is it just me that thinks that we could possibly have a combo like maddux, smoltz, and Glavine? Not to mention if we could still have Oswalt by then… Ok I woke up, hopefully Drayton doesn’t trade all of them to reach mediocraty next year

Any input on Wilton Lopez's chances of making the starting rotation in 2010?
I’m a believer in jumping some players straight to the majors from AA.
Is Lopez such a candidate?

I don’t know if the Astros view him as a future starter or reliever. He is a groundball pitcher with good control, but not a big strike out rate. That is about all I know. Here are his stats. Maybe the Astros let him compete in spring training for a spot on the roster, but I don’t know if he would be allowed to compete for a bullpen or rotation slot.
